Join us for a great day of celebration and patriotism in and around Culpeper on Monday, July 4, 2016.

The 4th of July Indpedence Day Celebration is a safe, fun, and affordable event that represents not only our heritage, but also a strong sense of community spirit. The day's events will include a 5K race (new this year is a fun run which is a small race for young children and their parents) and then the normal 5K for older youth and adults, kayaks at the Yowell Meadow Park pond for children and parents, youth sporting events, Downtown Art Show, patriotic speeches, a festive parade, CRI's 4th of July Car & Bike Show, food and craft vendors, moonbounces, hayrides and entertainment..... and of course FIREWORKS that will delight everyone!

Invite you friends and family members for this very popular event in Culpeper. Last year it is estimated that over 5,000 people attended our celebrations. Make sure you will be one of them again this year. Check out this year's schedule of Events to see what the 2016 celebration has in store!

All events will be held rain or shine on Monday, July 4th. In the event of extreme storms with lighting, the date (for the fireworks only) will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 9:15 p.m.
